MEGAN HILDRETH HERTZOG

2017 National Teacher of the Year
Megan has been dancing and professionally performing for over 30 years and attended the California Pacific College of Performing Arts. Megan is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, cheer, and gymnastics. As a dancer, she has won many regional and national titles at various dance competitions across the country and her competition choreography has also won many awards. Megan has held teaching positions at D & S Talent, The Young Americans, Carolina Dance Company, Eddie Mabry Talent, and Fascinating Rhythm Studio.
She has performed with Disney Channel star Ashley Argota, Brandon Jarrett, and Royal Caribbean Stars at Sea, as well as performances with Disneyland, Tokyo Disney, The Singing Christmas Tree, The Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra, and several events with JBP Entertainment. She has also appeared in the video - Heidi Jarrett’s Fuzion. Megan was a member of The Young Americans in California for 3 years. During her time with The Young Americans, she was a cast member for USA, Japan, and Germany tours where she taught classes at all conventions, as well as assisted master teachers at Dance Excellence in Los Angeles.
CRYSTAL WILSON
Ballet Program Director / Competition Choreographer

Crystal has been dancing for 25 years, and teaching for 16 years. She studied ballet and pointe extensively, training in the Royal Academy and Cecchetti methods and examinations, receiving high honors. Crystal performed many roles in the Union County Youth Ballet's Nutcracker Ballet, including Snow Queen, Arabian, and Dew Drop. With UCYB, she also performed the roles of the Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, Aunt Em in The Wizard of Oz, and The Summer Fairy in Cinderella. Crystal has also studied jazz, tap, contemporary, and modern, and participated in many workshops and master classes with the likes of Alex Little, Doug Caldwell, David Wilcox, Suzy Miller, Mark Meismer, Mariclair Miranda of Columbia City Ballet, and Sandra Burnham of the Royal Academy of Dance.
Crystal's students and choreography have been recognized at many regional dance competitions for "Best Choreography" and performance and entertainment awards.
Crystal feels incredibly blessed to be able to teach and share her passion for dance, and hopes to inspire all of her students to be their best.
Ms. Crystal is celebrating her 10th season on staff with Be Famous Dance Center.
JILLIAN TUCKER
Preschool Program Director
Mrs. Jillian grew up dancing locally. She is a mother of two and a homeschool mom. When she is not at the studio, she enjoys spending time with her family and church.

DAPHNE HAMBLIN
Tap & Hip Hop Program Director / Competition Choreographer
Daphne started her competitive dance training at Be Famous Dance Center. She graduated from the Dance Academy at the Central Academy of Technology and Arts. Daphne is a professional dancer with roles in various shows at Carowinds. She has toured Japan performing and teaching with Heart Global Arts.
Ms. Daphne is celebrating her 1st season on staff with Be Famous Dance Center.
Maiah Greene
Competition Choreographer
Maiah Greene started dancing when she was 5 and competitively dancing when she was 6! She went to a performing arts high school, Central Academy of Technology and Arts, where she was in the Dance Academy. Maiah was also on the cheerleading team for three years. In high school, she performed in two musicals, "On The Town" and "Rock of Ages", participating in the dance ensembles. In college, Maiah joined the Dance Team her freshman year and became Co-Captain her sophomore year, earning the Captain position her Junior and Senior years. Maiah graduated from Wingate University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in May 2023 and has recently started her Master's in Medical Physiology and Pharmacology through the University of Florida. I am so excited to be a part of the Be Famous Family, and I am so excited for this upcoming season!
