Acrobatic Arts Program

Our certified Acrobatic Arts Program blends the strength and precision of acrobatics with the artistry and fluidity of dance. Designed for students of all levels, this program focuses on building a strong technical foundation while encouraging confidence, flexibility, and performance quality. Our curriculum runs from Preschool through Level Pre-Professional 3.

Program Overview

Each class emphasizes proper technique, safety, and progressive skill development. Dancers will work on elements such as strength training, flexibility, balance, coordination, and controlled transitions—essential components for executing acrobatic skills seamlessly within choreography.

What Makes Our Program Unique: Our weekly skill focus structure allows dancers to train with intention, helping them build confidence and master technique step by step.

Weekly Skill Focus

Each week is thoughtfully themed

Tumbling: rolls, cartwheels, walkovers, handsprings, and aerial progressions
Balancing: handstands, inversions, and control-based skills
Limbering: backbends, bridges, and contortion fundamentals
Flexibility & Conditioning: core stability, upper body strength, and endurance
Pre-Exams: mock exams and preparation
Exams, Partnering & Tricks (when appropriate): teamwork and spatial awareness

Acro Exams & Progression

To support goal setting and achievement, Acro Exams are hosted every 6 weeks. These evaluations are by invitation only, ensuring each dancer is physically and technically prepared. Exams give dancers the opportunity to demonstrate their progress, build confidence, and advance through levels in a structured and encouraging environment.

Whether your dancer is new to acro or looking to refine advanced skills, our program offers a supportive space to grow stronger, more flexible, and more confident—both on and off the floor.

Dress Code

Black BFDC Leotard
Tan Stirrup, Convertible, or Footless Tights
Primary Level dancers do not wear shorts
As dancers progress, they will earn specific colored shorts to represent their level achievements

Achievement shorts are awarded by Be Famous Dance Center after each successful exam, celebrating each dancer's growth and accomplishments.

Single Acro Class

$50

per class, per month

One acro class each week, building skills level by level.

Acro Package

$95

per month, up to 2 classes per week
