Megan Hildreth Hertzog

2017 National Teacher of the Year

Megan Hertzog has been dancing and professionally performing for over 30 years and attended the California Pacific College of Performing Arts. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, cheer, and gymnastics. As a dancer, Megan has earned numerous regional and national titles at dance competitions across the country, and her choreography has received multiple awards for excellence in performance and artistic achievement.

Megan has held teaching positions with D & S Talent, The Young Americans, Carolina Dance Company, Eddie Mabry Talent, and Fascinating Rhythm Studio. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about developing not only skilled dancers but also confident young leaders who use their talents to make a positive impact on others.

As a performer, Megan has appeared alongside Disney Channel star Ashley Argota, Brandon Jarrett, and Royal Caribbean Stars at Sea. Her performance credits also include Disneyland, Tokyo Disney, The Singing Christmas Tree, The Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra, and numerous productions with JBP Entertainment. She also appeared in the video Heidi Jarrett's Fuzion.

Megan spent three years as a member of The Young Americans in California, where she toured throughout the United States, Japan, and Germany. During this time, she taught classes at conventions, mentored young performers, and assisted master instructors at Dance Excellence in Los Angeles.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Megan is a devoted homeschool mother of five children. Her greatest passion is using dance as a form of worship and bringing praise and glory to the Lord through the arts. She believes dance is a powerful tool for building confidence, character, discipline, and faith, and she strives to create an environment where students can grow both technically and spiritually.

As the Owner and Artistic Director of Be Famous Dance Center, Megan is committed to providing high-quality dance education in a positive, encouraging, and Christ-centered atmosphere where every dancer is challenged to pursue excellence while discovering their God-given purpose and potential.

Maiah Greene

Instructor / Competition Choreographer

Maiah Greene started dancing when she was 5 and competitively dancing when she was 6! She went to a performing arts high school, Central Academy of Technology and Arts, where she was in the Dance Academy. Maiah was also on the cheerleading team for three years. In high school, she performed in two musicals, “On The Town” and “Rock of Ages”, participating in the dance ensembles. In college, Maiah joined the Dance Team her freshman year and became Co-Captain her sophomore year, earning the Captain position her Junior and Senior years. Maiah graduated from Wingate University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in May 2023 and has recently started her Master's in Medical Physiology and Pharmacology through the University of Florida. I am so excited to be a part of the Be Famous Family, and I am so excited for this upcoming season!

Ms. Maiah is celebrating her 4th season on staff with Be Famous Dance Center.

Jillian Tucker

Substitute Instructor

Mrs. Jillian grew up dancing locally. She is a mother of two and a homeschool mom. When she is not at the studio, she enjoys spending time with her family and church.
