2024-2025 Competitive Program
The Biblical perspective on Competition: The Bible doesn't prohibit competition, but it does warn against unhealthy competition attitudes. The Bible says that God encourages people to compare themselves to what he has made, which can help people understand their talents. However, competition can have a negative impact if people focus on building their self-worth and value. The Bible warns against comparing oneself to others, which can lead to envy and conceit. It also warns against coveting what others have, including their talents, gifts, abilities, possessions, and success.
On that note, we offer competitive opportunities in the areas of Solos, Duets, or Trios for dancers who wish to gain extra performance experience and feedback from professional judges to help them grow in their talents!
How our Competitive Program works:
1. Set your budget! (Monthly budgets start as low as $82/month)
*Monthly Tuition rates: Solos $109, Duets $55, Trios $36
2. Select a Recital Class in the genre you wish to compete.
3. Select any additional Recital Classes or Technique Classes to build your level of training program.
4. Register for Auditions!
Auditions - Monday, June 17, 2024!
$25 audition fee due at the time of registration.
Our Competition Team calendar runs July 8, 2024 - June 30, 2025. We attend a Christian Dance Convention in January in Winston Salem, NC, and then 1 local competition per month during the months of Feb-May.
Tuition is an annual rate, broken down into monthly payments and will be charged on the 1st of each month.
*Additional fees for costumes, competitions, conventions, and workshops are NOT included in the monthly payments. These fees will be invoiced early in the season. Estimates will be provided prior to auditions.
